Old loved games
Lemmings2 The Lemmings are back, and this time, they come with all new abilities. The basic premise of the Lemmings series is that you start out with a certain number of Lemmings. Then walk in a strait line, and your goal is to command them to do certain tasks which will help them to get to the exit without dying.
Doom

Not so long after Wolfenstein 3D changed the world, id Software made another game of that kind. Only this time, you won't just have a pistol, knife and a couple of machine guns, but much more powerful weapons like a rocket launcher, shotgun, and even a chainsaw if you're a blood-thirsty opponent.

The reason for the new weapon arsenal is that you deal with non-humans this time. Whatever seems strange to you, just shoot at it, fire at will, because you are hard to find any friend in here. You're left to your own destiny, which ultimately can be changed if you're not too affraid to step into this realm of dark beings and tomato-like monsters.

Flashback (Another World II)
Dune II This is the first RTS (Real Time Strategy) game that was released, and continues to be one of the best. The control of the game could be improved perhaps with some shortcuts to do the movements, attacks, etc.. but apart from that the game has great music, graphics, and overall gameplay.
Syndicate Syndicate is an outstanding, incredibly atmospheric action-strategy game by Bullfrog, one of the best of its kind. The game is set in a bleak future where "Syndicates" control the world. You're a young executive in a small European based syndicate, you must perform a series of tasks to subdue the major population centres one by one until you have driven the forces of the rival corporations out of their final strongholds.
Sid Meier's Colonization for Windows This Sid Meier classic is not severely underrated but certainly deserves as much acclaim as his classic Civilization for the novel design and refreshing emphasis on colony development as opposed to military might like Civil War games of yore. Use various specialist units to build and strengthen your colony through trade with Great Britain and native Indians before declaring independence for the final war for freedom.
Bubble Bobble
Wolfenstein 3D The 1st-person shooter that started it all. As the Allies hero, B.J. Blazkowicz, you run around 3D mazes and blast away Nazis until you can find your way out of their fortresses, prisons, and secret laboratories. Great for playing at Christmas vacation...
  Duke Nukem 2
Transport Tycoon Deluxe (for WinXP) Great for killing (and wasting) endless time.. The aim of the game is to basically manage a transport company, from everything to the roadworks and railways to giving all the vehicles orders of where to go, and what to do. Transport Tycoon features air, land, and sea vehicles, and allows you to not just supply a service to passengers but also to local trade industries.

4D Stunt Car Racing

Stunts would have to be one of the best racing games around, it has fantasic gameplay and some amusing racing opponents. There were a few different cars to choose from and they were all fun to drive but nothing beats flying around your tracks in the F1 car, wondering when you were going to slip off the track into the lake. The bit that gave Stunts the longevity over other games is the track making, you could make a basic oval for flat out speed or a track with loops and corkscrews.
Micromachines This game lets you control boats, cars, etc. as you race your way to the top and knock out your other opponents. Quite an addictive game, which also has the benefit of a multiplayer function - using the same keyboard however, not over a network et al. You can race against a friend, or 3 other 'computer' competitors - which you can choose in a variety of scenarios such as a breakfast table, a pond of water, and a sand box.
Prince of Persia A classic...This is sure a "megahit"..
Rick Dangerous Rick Dangerous is a great little side scroller. Your character runs around in ruins of an ancient city dodging falling rocks and dart spitting statues. Rick Dangerous is kind of like Super Mario Brothers but without the powerups, so if you enjoy platform games or have played Rick Dangerous before, give it a go.
Codename: Iceman This is the first adventure I ever played. It isn't anything special but for emotional reasons I decided to include it here.
The Secret of the Monkey Island One of the best ever adventures. A favourite.
Leisure Suit Larry 1: The Land of the Lounge Lizzards In this beginning of one of Sierra's most popular saga, don a leisure suit and become Larry, the most unfortunate lover-wannabe in the world. Puzzles, although all of them revolve around getting to "score" with women, are ingenious. Some side-splitting humor abounds in this game as well-- try calling Sierra hint line on the phone :)
